I love providing wedding information for my brides and will continue to do that, but I wanted to start offering information for all my fellow photographers out there!
The ones that are itching to learn more and be encouraged to go for their dreams.
So let’s start with three ways to learn photography
1) Youtube
Youtube is FULL of free information. Professionals are putting so many tutorials out there for people like you. Whether it’s to learn about business or photography techniques Youtube is a great place to start.
2) Workshops
This is where investing your money comes in. But it’s worth it. Every time I went to a workshop my skill as a photographer and my understanding of business grew astronomically. Be sure to go to the workshops of the people you trust and are familiar with so you know their credibility. You won’t regret it.
3)Experience
Whether you’re looking into newborn photography or wedding photography ask to second shoot! When I was 13 years old I started second shooting for a photographer. You’ll probably get paid very little but the experience and knowledge you will gain is priceless. Having the hands on, real life, action experience is one of the best ways to learn!
