An engagement session is always complimentary in each of our wedding collections. We always want to get you in front of our camera before the wedding day. This helps us get to know you as a couple so we aren't strangers on your wedding day!

For maternity sessions we like to schedule those at 7-8 months pregnant.
For newborn sessions we like to schedule those 1-3 weeks after the baby is born.
For engagement sessions we like to schedule those 8-9 months before your wedding day.
For family sessions we can do those at anytime during the year! However we offer Spring and Fall mini sessions each year

When picking outfits we recommend keeping in mind the word complement rather than match. Choosing color-families, such as pastels or jewel tones can also help with this. Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. We take photos for a living and we even feel like a deer in the headlights when we're in front of the camera. You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and we coach you through poses, we think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun.

Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
