Brook Hollow Golf Club Wedding | Megan and Chris Burgess

The week of Megan and Chris’s wedding there was off and on rain each day. Which of course causes some concern for a wedding day. By the time Saturday arrived there was nothing but glorious sunshine. It was the perfect spring wedding day at Brook Hollow Golf Club.

Nate started the day with Chris and the groomsmen at The Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas. The men had an amazing balcony where they spent the morning. Before they got on the bus they enjoyed some relaxing time in a private party room at the Rodeo Bar in the hotel. They had a pool table, darts, jukebox, and drinks. What could be a better way to start your wedding day?

Megan getting ready was such a special moment. She had her mom, her three older sisters and, her three nieces in the room helping her. The flower girls (her 3 adorable nieces) loved seeing their aunt in the most beautiful wedding gown. They couldn’t stop touching the full silk skirt and the lace bodice. Megan’s mom loved helping Megan put the veil on as it was the same veil she wore on her wedding day many years ago.

A very special aspect of Megan and Chris’s wedding day was the nine nieces and nephews on Megan’s side. One nephew was two weeks old! A specifically requested photo was one just of the nine kiddos and let us tell you, it is a favorite! Not only were there many kiddos but many adults! The whole wedding party was 37 people! One of the biggest groups we have ever photographed and we loved it!

Everything from the floral filled reception hall to the quartet at the ceremony was all so timeless and classic. Megan and Chris never left each other’s side after their first look. They danced the night away surrounded by their loving family and friends.
